Model: Big Skinner Knife
The Big Skinner Knife was designed to be a large hunter skinning knife. This is one big bad boy. With a unique Spey Point, this knife can not only be used by a cowboy to cut a pair of big bull balls off the animal, you can take it on a hunt where big game (like Elk) requires a big skinning knife that isn't going to pierce organs and ruin your meat. This knife is also great in the wilderness for bushcraft camp tasks, slicing, chopping, etc.
Description: This specific knife pictured above has curly maple scales with brass pins. The 1095 carbon steel blade has a Spey Point and a rustic satin finish and texture caused by fire and hammer. The blade steel has a differential heat treatment where the edge has hardness and the spine and full tang have toughness. The black leather sheath is handcrafted from 100% veg-tan and is hand-stitched with artificial sinew, has a brass rivet securing the belt loop and has leather stamping. This knife is NOT a mass production knife and is handmade with unique character; visible hammer marks, forge scale marks, and some grind marks may be visible on the blade. Desert Yucca plant stamped on the steel. Handcrafted in El Paso, TX.
